Consult-II Basic Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Infiniti FX45 and 2005 Infiniti FX35. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

CAUTION: If CONSULT-II is used with no connection of CONSULT-II CONVERTER, malfunctions might be detected in self-diagnosis depending on control unit which carry out CAN communication.

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Connect CONSULT-II and CONSULT-II CONVERTER on the data link connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Touch "START (NISSAN BASED VHCL)"

Touch "ICC" on "SELECT SYSTEM" screen.
If "ICC" is not indicated, go to "CONSULT-II DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC) CIRCUIT ".

Touch any of "WORK SUPPORT", "SELF-DIAG RESULTS", "DATA MONITOR", "CAN DIAG SUPPORT MNTR", "ACTIVE TEST" and "ECU PART NUMBER" on selection screen.
