Removal and Installation: Installation

Install in the reverse order of removal.

When installing the transfer to the transmission, install the bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 36 N.m (3.7kg-m, 26 ft-lb)

Check the fluid level and for fluid leakage. Refer to "CHANGING TRANSFER FLUID ".
After the installation, check 4WD shift indicator pattern. If NG, adjust position between transfer assembly and transfer control unit. Refer to "PRECAUTIONS FOR TRANSFER ASSEMBLY AND TRANSFER CONTROL UNIT REPLACEMENT ".
