The Smart Entrance Control Unit (SECU) totally controls the following body electrical system operations.
- Headlamp auto light control system.
- Warning chime. See WARNING CHIME in INSTRUMENT PANELS - PATHFINDER article.
- Rear defogger and door mirror defogger. See REAR WINDOW DEFOGGER - PATHFINDER article.
- Power door lock. See POWER DOOR LOCKS - PATHFINDER article.
- Remote keyless entry system. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM - PATHFINDER article.
- Vehicle security system. See ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM - PATHFINDER article.
- Interior lamp.
In addition, the following timer operations are controlled by the SECU:
- Battery saver control.
- Retained power control.
