Front Speed Sensor: Installation

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- INSTALL FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH
- Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)
NOTE: Keep the sensor tip and sensor installation hole free from foreign matter. - Install the speed sensor to the body with the 2 bolts.
Torque
- 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf) for bolt A
- 29 N*m (296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf) for bolt B
- Connect the connector and attach the clamp.
- Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
- INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH (See INSTALLATION )
- INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. - CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
- Check the ABS speed sensor signal (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
