BCM Circuit Inspection

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check terminals and connector of BCM for damage, bend and loose connection (control module side and harness side).
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Repair terminal or connector.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check resistance between BCM harness connector terminals.RESISTANCE CHART
BCM connector Terminal Resistance (Approx.) M18 39 40 54 - 66 ohm
OK or NG
OK >> Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM .
NG >> Repair harness between BCM and data link connector.
