Data Link Connector Circuit Inspection

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check data link connector and terminals for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Repair terminal or connector.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Check resistance between data link connector terminals.
RESISTANCE CHARTData link connector Terminal Resistance (Approx.) M22 6 14 54 - 66 ohm OK or NG
OK >> Diagnose again. Refer to "TROUBLE DIAGNOSES WORK FLOW ".
NG >> Repair harness between data link connector and BCM.
