Inspection Between TCM and Data Link Connector Circuit

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector F14
- Harness connector E5
- Harness connector E152
- Harness connector M31
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Repair terminal or connector.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect A/T assembly connector and harness connector F14.
- Check continuity between A/T assembly harness connector and harness connector.CONTINUITY CHART

OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Repair harness.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect harness connector E152.
- Check continuity between harness connector and SMJ harness connector.CONTINUITY CHART

OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> Repair harness.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Check continuity between SMJ harness connector and data link connector.

OK >> Connect all the connectors and diagnose again. Refer to "TROUBLE DIAGNOSES WORK FLOW ".
NG >> Repair harness.
