Steering Angle Sensor Circuit Inspection

- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check terminals and connector of steering angle sensor for damage, bend and loose connection (sensor side and harness side).
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Repair terminal or connector.
- CHECK HARNESS FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
- Disconnect steering angle sensor connector.
- Check resistance between steering angle sensor harness connector terminals.RESISTANCE CHART
Steering angle sensor connector Terminal Resistance (Approx.) M47 4 5 54 - 66 ohm
OK or NG
OK >> Replace steering angle sensor.
NG >> Repair harness between steering angle sensor and data link connector.
