Map Lamp Control Does Not Operate

- CHECK MAP LAMP INPUT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check voltage between map lamp harness connector R14 terminal 7 and ground.
7 - Ground: Battery voltage should exist.

OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: GO TO 4.
- CHECK MAP LAMP
- Disconnect map lamp connector.
- Check continuity between map lamp terminals.MAP LAMP
Map lamp Condition Continuity Terminal 4 7 Map lamp switch is ON Yes Map lamp switch is OFF No
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Replace map lamp.
- CHECK MAP LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between map lamp harness connector R14 terminal 4 and ground.
4 - Ground: Continuity should exist.

OK or NG
OK: Check connector for proper connection. Repair as necessary.
NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK MAP LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector and map lamp connector.
- Check continuity between BCM connector M20 (A) terminal 56 and map lamp connector R14 (B) terminal 7.
56 - 7: Continuity should exist.

OK or NG
OK: Replace BCM if map lamp does not work after setting the connector again. Refer to "BCM ".
NG: Repair harness or connector.
