Personal Lamp Control Does Not Operate

- CHECK EACH DOOR SWITCH
Select "BCM" on CONSULT-III. With "INT LAMP" data monitor, make sure switches listed in display item list turn ON-OFF linked with switch operation. Refer to "SWITCH OPERATION " for switches and their functions.
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: Inspect malfunctioning door switch.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP INPUT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect personal lamp connector.
- Open the rear door.
- Check voltage between personal lamp harness connector R13 terminal 2 and ground.
2 - Ground: Battery voltage should exist.

OK or NG
OK: GO TO 4.
NG: GO TO 3.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM connector M20 (A) terminal 56 and personal lamp connector R13 (B) terminal 2.
56 - 2: Continuity should exist.

OK or NG
OK: Replace BCM if personal lamp does not work after setting the connector again. Refer to "BCM ".
NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP AND INTERIOR ROOM LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect interior room lamp connector.
- Check continuity between personal lamp harness connector R13 terminals 4 and 6 and interior room lamp harness connector R14 terminal 5.
4, 6 - 5: Continuity should exist.

OK or NG
OK: Replace personal lamp.
NG: Repair harness or connector.
