Immobilizer Unit & PCM

NOTE:
Keys may be new or valid. If errors occur during reprogramming in steps 1) or 2), start over from step 1). If errors occur during step 3), go to REPROGRAM ERROR RECOVERY .
- Cut new transponder equipped key(s), if necessary. Replace immobilizer unit and PCM. Using 1st key, turn ignition to ON position. SECURITY light should illuminate and then go out. Turn 1st key to LOCK position and remove key. SECURITY light should flash in single pulses repeatedly.
- Using 2nd key, turn ignition to ON position. SECURITY light should illuminate and then go out. Turn 2nd key to LOCK position and remove key. SECURITY light should flash in double pulses repeatedly.
- Using 3rd key, turn ignition to ON position. SECURITY light should illuminate and then go out. Turn 3rd key to LOCK position and remove key. SECURITY light should flash in triple pulses repeatedly.
- Repeat step 3 with each new key, up to 8 keys total. Wait 30 seconds, program will quit automatically. After reprogramming is complete, clear DTCs with NGS tester.
