Coil Spring And Shock Absorber: Inspection: Assembly

When installing coil spring on strut, it must be positioned as shown in Fig 1.

Install upper spring seat with alignment mark facing the outer side of vehicle, in line with strut-to-knuckle attachment points.

Replace strut lower mounting nuts.
When installing strut to knuckle, be sure to hold bolts and tighten nuts.
1. Strut to knuckle tightening torque: 114 - 133 N.m (11.6 - 13.6 kg-m, 84 - 98 ft-lb)
