Component Inspection (Fuel Pump)

  1. CHECK FUEL PUMP
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect "fuel level sensor unit (fuel pump)" harness connector.
    3. Check resistance between "fuel level sensor unit (fuel pump)" terminals as follows.
      Terminals Resistance [at 25°C (77°F)]
      2 and 4 0.2 - 5.0 Ω

      Is the inspection result normal? 

      YES: INSPECTION END

      NO: Replace fuel level sensor unit, fuel filter and fuel pump assembly. Refer to "EXPLODED VIEW ".
