Component Function Check

  1. CHECK VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION (1) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON for several seconds after power switch is turned ON.

    CAUTION: Never set the vehicle to READY.

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: GO TO  2.

    NO: Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".

  2. CHECK VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION (2) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON/OFF when VDC OFF switch is operated.

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: INSPECTION END

    NO: Check the VDC OFF switch system. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
