Component Function Check

  1. CHECK VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION (1) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON for approx. 2 second after ignition switch is turned ON.

    CAUTION: Never start engine.

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: GO TO 2.

    NO: Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".

  2. CHECK VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP FUNCTION (2) 

    Check that VDC OFF indicator lamp in combination meter turns ON/OFF when VDC OFF switch is operated.

    Is the inspection result normal? 

    YES: INSPECTION END

    NO: Check VDC OFF switch system. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
