Work Procedure

  1. SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Select "Re/programming, Configuration".
    2. Select the operation according to the CONSULT screen.
    3. Perform "Before ECU Replacement" of "Vehicle Configuration" to write vehicle specification.
    NOTE: If "Before ECU Replacement" of "Vehicle Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing BCM. Refer to Work Procedure .

    YES

    GO TO 2.

  2. REPLACE BCM 

    Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    YES

    GO TO 3.

  3. WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Select "Re/programming, Configuration".
    2. Select the operation according to the reference. Refer to Work Procedure .

    YES

    GO TO 4.

  4. PAIRING OF BCM AND HFM 
    CAUTION: When before pairing of BCM and HFM, always write the BCM configuration, or not doing so, the BCM control function may not operate normally.

    Perform pairing of BCM and HFM. Press UNLOCK button of Intelligent Key.

    YES

    GO TO 5.

  5. REGISTER OF VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Select "VIN REGISTRATION" in "Work Support" mode of "BCM".
    2. Refer to CONSULT and follow the on-screen instructions.

    YES

    GO TO 6.

  6. TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID REGISTRATION 

    Perform tire pressure sensor ID registration procedure. Refer to Work Procedure .

    YES

    Work End.
