Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C Hose Routing And Service Port Locations - 3.3L:

It is not necessary to recover the refrigerant when replacing this sensor. The sensor is mounted on a Schrader-Type valve that automatically seals when the switch is removed.

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector.
3. Remove pressure sensor.
4. Remove "O" ring.

INSTALLATION

1. Install new "O" ring.
2. Install pressure sensor.
3. Connect electrical connection.
4. Connect negative battery cable.
