Function Test

Disconnect vacuum hose from actuator. Using a hand-held vacuum pump, apply 12" Hg of vacuum to actuator. If throttle does not fully open, replace actuator. If throttle fully opens, remove vacuum supply from actuator. If throttle does not close smoothly and quickly, replace actuator and valve assembly. If throttle closes, actuator is okay.
