Checking wiring and terminals

Check the wiring between the control module for the steering wheel angle sensor

terminal #5 (terminal (#A29) and steering wheel module (SWM) terminal #4 (terminal #A4)

terminal #4 (terminal (#A28) and steering wheel module (SWM) terminal #3 (terminal #A3)

terminal #10 (terminal (#A34) and steering wheel module (SWM) terminal #2 (terminal #A2)

#11 (#A35) and steering wheel module (SWM) #17 (#A17)

check for Contact resistance and oxidation . Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Open-circuit, intermittent faults . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, intermittent faults . Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage, intermittent faults .
