Checking the connector for the selector switch

• Ignition off.
• Check terminals #1 and #3 on the selector switch connector for contact resistance and oxidation and for loose connections. Remedy Contact resistance and oxidation . Remedy loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) .
• Connect the selector switch.
• Ignition on.
• Selector switch on.

  Connect a voltmeter between selector switch connector terminal #3 and ground.

The voltmeter should read battery voltage when the SET+ switch is activated. The voltmeter should read approximately 0 V when the SET switch is not activated.
