Power steering pump, replacing: Finishing

Remove the lock grip pliers from the return hose.

Install: 

• the auxiliaries belt. See Auxiliaries belt / belt tensioner, replacing 
• cold air inlet hose to the control module.

Fill the servo reservoir with oil. Bleed the system 

• Use Volvo power steering fluid, P/N 1161529-1 to ensure the correct oil quality
• Repeatedly turn the steering wheel to full lock. Top up the oil if necessary
• Lower the car
• Apply the parking brake. Start the engine
• Step A:  Turn the steering wheel slowly to the right. Hold on full lock for 2seconds
• Step B:  Turn the steering wheel slowly to the left. Hold on full lock for 2 seconds
• Repeat steps A  and B  10 times.
