X25 - Check FC/LFC Circuit For Short to Power

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) disconnected.

- Key "ON", engine "OFF".

- Measure voltage between test pin 13 at the breakout box and battery negative post.

- Is voltage less than 1.0 volt?

Yes -- Go to X26. X26 - FC/LFC Circuit Fault Isolation Check

No -- Service short to power in Fan Control (FC) / Low Fan Control (LFC) circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
