Seat Disassembly/Reassembly - Driver's

- KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014*

- Also review the precautions and procedures Technician Safety Information before doing repairs or service.

- The operation of the driver's seat position sensor must be checked after any of these actions: Drivers Seat Position Sensor Operation Check
- Driver's seat position sensor replacement

NOTE:

- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

- Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- Make sure the bushing and the pivot washer are installed correctly.

- Apply multipurpose grease to the moving portion of the seat track.

- To prevent wrinkles in the seat-back cover, stretch the material evenly over the pad.

- Adjust the connecting cable as necessary.

- Make sure the connecting cable is installed properly.
