Map Light: Service and Repair

MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Remove the battery cover.

2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Removal and Replacement

3. Insert a tape-wrapped fastener remover into the service hole and pry with the screwdriver in the direction shown by the arrow to remove the lens.






4. Remove the map light bulb






5. Remove the map light.

6. Disconnect the connector.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Map Light Removal Note

1. Insert a tape-wrapped fastener remover into the gap between the front header trim and the map light.

2. Press the tab, and remove the map light.
