TEST POINT 28
Camshaft adjustment, bank 1 and bank 2

DTC 174, 178

1. measure voltage, Bank 1, cylinders 1 - 3

Connect voltmeter to control module connector or adapter pin 52 and pin 54

Ignition "ON"

Display: Battery positive voltage

2. measure voltage, Bank 2, cylinders 4 - 6

Connect voltmeter to control module connector or adapter pin 25 and pin 54

Ignition "ON"

Display: Battery positive voltage






3. Pull off valve connector and measure voltage between pin 1 (+) and ground (engine)

Ignition "ON"

Display: approx. 12 V

Note: Power is supplied via the DmE relay.
