2AZ-FE BATTERY / CHARGING: GENERATOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
Torque: 8.4 Nm (86 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)





(b) Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.
Bolt A - Torque: 21 Nm (215 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)
Bolt B - Torque: 52 Nm (530 kgf-cm, 38 ft-lbf)





(c) Install the generator connector and 2 wire harness clamps.
(d) Install the wire harness to terminal B with the nut and install the terminal cap.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation
3. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
