Function Test: Testing

  1. Turn ignition off. Connect ABS Tester (07HAJ-SG00100) to 6-pin connector, located under passenger seat. Start engine. Release parking brake. Depress brake pedal. Place mode selector to "1". Push start test button. Test in progress light should come on. Within 2-4 seconds, 4 monitor light should come on.
  2. If "ANTILOCK" light comes on, ABS tester harness is faulty. Turn mode selector to "2". Depress brake pedal. Push start test button. "ANTILOCK" should not come on and kickback should be felt in brake pedal.
  3. If light comes on or kickback is not felt, see "ANTILOCK" WARNING LIGHT in this article. Place mode selector in "3"-"6". Results should be the same as "2". If not, see "ANTILOCK" WARNING LIGHT in this article. Breakdown of testing of each mode is as follows:
