Set/Resume/Cancel Switch
- Remove steering wheel. Check for continuity between Blue/Red and Light Green/Red wires with set button depressed. There should be continuity. Ensure there is continuity between Blue/Red and Light Green/Black wires with resume button depressed.
- Check for continuity between Blue/Red and Light Green/Red wires, and Blue/Red and Light Green/Black wires with cancel button depressed. There should be continuity. Reverse polarity and recheck for continuity of cancel switch wiring. Circuit contains diodes that allow current flow in only one direction.
- Remove steering column lower cover. Disconnect 3-pin connector from lighting switch. There should be continuity between Blue/Red wire and "A" terminal, Light Green/Red wire and "B" terminal, and Light Green/Black and "C" terminal, as you turn the slip ring. See Fig 1 .
