Ignition Coil Power Source

Remove distributor cap. Disconnect ignition coil primary leads. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and Black/Yellow wire terminal of ignition coil harness. Battery voltage should exist. If not, check for open in Black/Yellow wire between ignition coil and ignition switch. An in-line radio noise condenser is utilized on the Black/Yellow wire. If condenser shorts out, power supply will be interrupted and vehicle will not start.
