Shift Control Cable
- Start engine. Shift to Reverse. Ensure transaxle engages in Reverse. With engine off, remove the console.
- Shift gear selector into Neutral or Reverse. Remove lock pin from cable adjuster. Ensure that hole in adjuster is perfectly aligned with hole in shift cable. See Fig 1

- The 2 holes in the end of the shift cable are positioned to allow cable adjustments in 1/4 turn increments.
- Loosen lock nut on shift cable and adjust as required. Tighten lock nut. Install lock pin on adjuster. See Fig 1
.
- Lock pin should not bind as it is installed. Start engine and check shift lever selection of all gears.
