Constant Vacuum Control (CVC)

Start engine. Verify presence of manifold vacuum to CVC valve located inside control box on firewall. Disconnect CVC vacuum hose at EGR cut-off solenoid. See Figure . Connect vacuum gauge. If vacuum reading is NOT approximately 8 in. Hg, replace CVC valve.
