Fuel Pressure Regulator Cut-Off Solenoid Valve Test II

  1. Start engine. Check vacuum signal to fuel pressure regulator. If okay, go to step 2). If vacuum is NOT present, check vacuum port, vacuum hose and connections.
  2. Disconnect 6-wire harness connector to fuel pressure regulator cut-off solenoid valve. Connect voltmeter leads to Black/Yellow (positive) wire and Light Green (negative) wire terminals. If voltage is present, go to step 3). If voltage is NOT present, replace fuel pressure cut-off solenoid valve and retest.
  3. Check for short in Light Green wire between cut-off solenoid valve and ECU. If wire is okay, substitute a known good ECU and retest. If problem goes away, replace original ECU.
