Fuel Injector Resistor

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Acura NSX and 1993 Acura NSX. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
WARNING: DO NOT smoke during the test. Keep open flame away from your work area. ALWAYS release fuel pressure before disconnecting any fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.
  1. Disconnect the fuel injector resistor connector. See Fig 1 .
  2. Check for resistance between each of the fuel injector resistor terminals B, C, D, F, G, H and the power terminal E.
  3. Resistance should be 5-7 ohms.
  4. Replace the fuel injector resistor with a new one if any of the resistances are outside of the specification.
