Code 1-3, High Pressure Leakage

  1. Check for external fluid leakage at modulator, power unit and high pressure hoses. Replace as necessary. Using ABS "T" Wrench (07HAA-SG00100), bleed high pressure fluid from maintenance bleeder screw. See RELIEVING ACCUMULATOR/LINE PRESSURE  under BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM. Remove pump motor relay. See Figure .
  2. Using jumper wire, connect terminals No. 1 and 2 of pump motor relay connector for about 10 seconds. See Figure . Disconnect 2-pin connector from pressure switch. After a 30-minute waiting period, check for continuity across pressure switch terminals. If continuity exists, system is okay. If no continuity exists, solenoid is leaking and defective.
