Constant Vacuum Control (CVC)

Start engine. Verify manifold vacuum is present at CVC valve located inside control box on firewall. See Figure . Disconnect CVC vacuum hose at EGR cut-off solenoid. Connect vacuum gauge. If vacuum is not about 8 in. Hg, replace CVC valve.
