Set forward/back switch to neutral position. Check for continuity between Blue/Yellow and Black (2) wires on connector "C". Continuity should not exist. If continuity exists, repair short in Blue/Yellow wire, or replace defective memory switch.

Set forward/back switch to rear position. Check for continuity between Blue/Yellow and Black (2) wires on connector "C". Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, repair open in Blue/Yellow wire, or replace defective memory switch.
