Ignition Coil Power Source

- On Integra, remove distributor cap. On all models, disconnect ignition coil primary leads. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, check voltage between ground and Black/Yellow wire terminal of ignition coil harness (six coils on Legend). See Figure and Figure .
- Ensure battery voltage exists. If battery voltage does not exist, check for open in Black/Yellow wire between ignition coil and ignition switch. A radio noise condenser is used on the Black/Yellow wire. If condenser is shorted, power supply will be interrupted and vehicle will not start.
