Charging System Light Comes On
- Start engine. If the charging system light goes out, charging system light circuit is okay. If the charging system light does not go off, go to next step.
- Turn off ignition. Disconnect 4-P connector from alternator. See Fig 1
. Turn ignition on, with engine off.
- If the charging system light comes on, repair short to ground in the WHT/BLU wire. If the charging system light does NOT come on, charging system light circuit is okay.
