Starting System Does Not Operate

Check starting system. See the ALTERNATOR & REGULATOR article. Check A/T or M/T gear position switch. Check security control unit. See SECURITY CONTROL UNIT INPUT TESTS under SYSTEM TESTS  . Check wiring for open circuits, loose or corroded terminals. See WIRING DIAGRAM  .
