Fail-Safe Relay

Relay is located on underhood relay panel on left side, toward front. Unplug relay from socket. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage between coil terminals No. 1 and 3.
Continuity should exist between terminals No. 2 and 4 with voltage applied to relay coil. See Fig 1 . No continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 4 with no battery voltage. Replace relay if continuity is not as specified.
