Steering Column Covers

Disable air bag system. See AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article. Remove dashboard lower cover. See DASHBOARD LOWER COVER  . Remove steering column cover mounting screws. See Fig 1 . Disconnect steering column switch wiring connector. Remove steering column upper and lower covers. To install, reverse removal procedure.
