Control Unit Inputs

CAUTION: To avoid damaging actuators, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
  1. Turn ignition off. Remove driver's door panel. Power door lock control unit is located in driver's door. Disconnect power door lock unit 14-pin connector.
  2. Using a DVOM, perform power door lock unit input tests. SeeFig 1 and Fig 2 . If all input test results are okay, inspect connector and terminals for damage and proper fit. If connector is okay and power door lock still malfunctions, replace power door lock control unit.
