Pcm Reset Procedure/Clearing Codes
NOTE:
Some models have an anti-theft code built into the radio circuit. Clearing codes cancels clock and radio settings; make note of settings before beginning reset procedure. After PCM reset, the radio will not function until code is entered.
To reset Powertrain Control Module (PCM) (clear codes), use PGM-FI tester or scan tool following manufacturer's instructions. Codes can also be cleared by turning ignition off and removing BACK UP (7.5-amp) fuse from underhood fuse/relay block. On all models, leave fuse out for 10 seconds to reset PCM. Disconnect PGM-FI tester or scan tool from DLC.
