Fuel Pressure Regulator: Testing

- Attach the Fuel Pressure Gauge (07406-0040002), or equivalent to the service port of the fuel filter. See Fig 1 .
- Pressure should be 47-53 psi (323-363 kPa) with the regulator vacuum hose disconnected and pinched.
- Reconnect the vacuum hose to the pressure regulator.
- Check that the fuel pressure rises when the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator is disconnected again.
- If the fuel pressure does not rise, replace the fuel pressure regulator.
