Kickback & Pump Operation
- When engine is started, ABS control unit will begin initial diagnosis and operate solenoid valve one time. Kickback may be felt if brake pedal is depressed.
- When ABS control unit detects pressure switch in OFF position during initial diagnosis, pump motor will be operated. Also, pump motor overrun and pump motor diagnosis are performed. After initial diagnosis, pump motor normally operates based on pressure switch signal, regardless of vehicle speed.
