DTC P1359: Crankshaft Position/Top Dead Center/Cylinder Position (CKP/TDC/CYP) Sensor Disconnected
NOTE:
DTC P1359 indicates a malfunction in CKP/TDC/CYP sensor circuit.
- Perform PCM reset procedure. See PCM RESET PROCEDURE/CLEARING CODES . Ensure A/T selector is in Neutral or Park position or on M/T that clutch pedal is fully depressed. Turn ignition switch to START position and crank engine for at least 10 seconds. If DTC P1359 resets, go to next step. If DTC P1359 does not reset, problem is intermittent, system is functioning properly at this time. Check for poor connections or loose wires between CKP/TDC/CYP sensor connector and PCM connector. See the WIRING DIAGRAMS article. Repair as necessary.
