Hood Switch Test

Open hood. Locate hood switch 2-pin connector behind center support and disconnect connector. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between hood switch connector terminals No. 1 (Black wire) and No. 2 (Light Green wire). Continuity should exist when hood lever is released (hood open). Continuity should not exist when hood lever is depressed (hood closed). If continuity is not as specified, replace hood switch.
