2.3CL, 3.0CL, 2.5TL & 3.2TL

Remove dashboard lower cover and knee bolster. Disconnect main harness 8-pin connector. Use DVOM and check for continuity between main harness 8-pin connector terminals No. 5 and 8 (terminals No. 4 and 7 on 2.5TL & 3.2TL). See Fig 2 . Continuity should be indicated with key in ignition switch. Continuity should not be indicated with key out of ignition switch. If continuity is not as indicated, replace ignition switch.
