Cruise Control Main Switch
- Remove cruise control main switch from instrument panel. See CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. With cruise control main switch in OFF position, check for continuity between cruise control main switch terminals "B" and "C", and between terminals "D" and "E". See Fig 1
. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace defective bulb. After replacing bulb, repeat test. If switch continuity is not as specified, replace cruise control main switch.
- Turn cruise control main switch to ON position. Check for continuity between cruise control main switch terminals "A" and "B", and "C", and between terminals "D" and "E". If continuity exists, switch is okay. If continuity does not exist between cruise control main switch terminals "A" and "B", replace switch. See CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If continuity does not exist between cruise control main switch terminals "B" and "C" or terminals "D" and "E", go to next step.
- Replace defective bulb inside cruise control main switch. After replacing bulb, repeat step 2
. If continuity is not as specified, replace cruise control main switch. See CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
