DTC 81: Continuous TCS Operation

NOTE: If MIL indicator is on, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - 3.2CL article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. If ABS indicator is on, retrieve ABS DTCs and go to ABS DIAGNOSTIC TESTS .

Clear DTC. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (TCS) under SELF-DIAGNOSTICS. Test drive vehicle and observe TCS indicator. If TCS indicator illuminates and DTC 81 is stored, replace ABS/TCS control unit.
